Our relationship with food has changed. And so have the images. Once they were predominantly functional – accompanying a recipe or a menu. Now we have food abundance – with images popping up unaccompanied throughout our daily lives. With food overload comes guilt. Not necessarily because we’re vaguely aware that 1 in 7 people go hungry every day, even though enough food is produced worldwide for everyone to have an adequate diet.
